The best way to get a gig at the Classroom is to send a package to the venue at CLASSROOM BLUES CLUB c/o Jon Hayes We have a jam night every Thursday starting at 9:00pm and I am almost always there that night. Send a promotional package and I will pick up the package that night. Come by and play. You can bring your whole band and play if you would like. The jam night is hosted by Stoney Curtis Band and we usually get a good crowd. We will book rock and roll bands once in a while. We book some jazz and country but mostly our place is dedicated to the blues. We especially are looking for bands to play during the week. Let me know if you wish to play during the week. The club pays the band a percentage of the bar so it is important that your band has a following. You can send me an email at jhayes3@socal.rr.com. That is the best way to communicate with me.
